General Summary:  With support from the Provost’s office and the Office of Enrollment Management, the College-wide Achieving the Dream (ATD) Facilitators will facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of College-wide practices that emphasize Equity, Inclusion, and Retention. The College-wide ATD Facilitators will be charged with engaging the faculty base and building support for data-based decisions regarding equitable and inclusive administrative, teaching, and student support practices.

Job Duties:  

 

  1. Facilitate a culture that embraces equity and inclusion as a central component of College processes and expectations.
  2. Collaborate with Assessment, the Center for Teaching and Learning, Student Support Services, and others to advance equitable and inclusive practices across the College.
  3. Work closely with the ATD coaches and CCAC administration, faculty, and staff to create a scheduled program for yearly ATD coach visits.
  4. Attend and/or identify appropriate attendees to the yearly DREAM conference.
  5. Work with faculty, staff, and administrators across the College to complete and submit the yearly ATD report.
  6. Form and work with diverse, relevant college committees related to student and institutional outcomes and the Achieving the Dream initiatives, as needed.
  7. Serve on the Data Governance and Analytics Team meeting, Student Success and Persistence Council, and other college committees as assigned.
  8. Collaborate with the staff in Institutional Research to work with data collection and analysis processes related to Achieving the Dream.
  9. Work with the Achieving the Dream coaches to enhance diversity and equity and student success initiatives at the College.
  10. Develop and oversee grants related to the Achieving the Dream initiative.
  11. Establish and oversee a budget for Achieving the Dream initiatives.
  12. Attend meetings, join work groups/committees, and support initiatives related to Achieving the Dream.
  13. Complete other duties as assigned.


Clearance:  Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
